Follow the steps in the program. When finished with your online submission, be sure to click the "Submit" button. Abstracts received without a properly completed Disclosure/Attestation will not be considered. The size limit for the abstract is 3400 characters. This count includes characters and spaces in the following: Abstract Title, Abstract Body, Tables, and Figures.
Abstracts are due by 11:59 PM DCT on June 21, 2010.

Corrections

After you have submitted, if you discover an error that must be corrected, notify Marathon Multimedia by fax (507-334-0014) or by email pburrage@marathonmultimedia.com. NOTE: You will be charged $25 each time you do so. Please include complete payment information with your abstract correction request.

31, 2010.
Note Regarding Figures and Tables
Please note that all image files (charts, figures, tables, etc.) submitted with abstracts for publication in the 2010 SABCS Abstract Book must have a minimum resolution of 200 dpi. Please confirm the resolution of your image files before submitting.
Please note that the maximum width for image files in the Abstract Book is 3 inches; figures, charts, and tables that are submitted in widths greater than 3 inches will be reduced to a width of 3 inches prior to publication. Before submitting your image file, please view it at a width of 3 inches to verify that all labels, captions, symbols, etc. are readable after reduction.
The Symposium organizers reserve the right to remove from the Abstract Book any image that does not conform to the minimum guidelines for resolution and size.
Submission Fee
Include payment with the abstract - $35
for each abstract submitted.
Credit card payment required.
No purchase orders will be accepted.
Abstract fee is not refundable.
Abstract Review Decision
Decision letters, along with presentation instructions, will be e-mailed to the Presenter (the contact person/first author listed) by the end of August 2010.
Scholarships
The purpose of these scholarships is to promote the education and professional development of
early-career
scientists who are actively pursuing research in breast cancer by encouraging and facilitating their attendance at
the CTRC-AACR San Antonio Breast Cancer Symposium.
Scholarships will be awarded in each program to graduate students, medical students, postdoctoral fellows, and physicians-in-training whose abstracts are accepted for presentation at the 33rd Annual SABCS, based upon
the quality of their abstracts.
Recipients of these scholarships will be identified in the SABCS program, both print and online, and also at the
meeting.
In order to be eligible for these scholarships, the applicant:
Must be a graduate student, medical student or resident, or clinical or postdoctoral fellow in an official training program at an academic institution.
Must provide certification of “in-training” status from the program director.
Must be the presenting author of an abstract accepted for presentation at the 33rd Annual SABCS.
Must submit an application with the abstract.
Must upload a current CV.
Must register for and attend the symposium, and present the accepted abstract.
May not be a previous recipient of the scholarship.
SABCS CLINICAL SCHOLARS
For clinical scientists-in-training who are actively pursuing clinical or
clinical/translational research in breast cancer.
SABCS BASIC SCIENCE SCHOLARS
For laboratory-based investigators-in-training whose work focuses on the biology
of breast cancer and
preclinical models of its development and progression.
AACR INTERNATIONAL SCHOLARS
For abstract presenters traveling from countries with emerging economies.
AACR TRANSLATIONAL RESEARCH SCHOLARS
For presenters of highly-rated abstracts focused on translational breast cancer research.
AACR MINORITY SCHOLARS
For abstract presenters working within the United States and within minority
groups that have been defined
by the National Cancer Institute as being traditionally
underrepresented in cancer and biomedical research
including African Americans,
Alaskan Natives, Hispanics, Native Americans, and Native Pacific Islanders.
Scholarship notifications will be sent September 17, 2010.
