Disclosure to Learners
As an ACCME-accredited CME provider, The University of Texas at San Antonio must ensure that its CME activities are independent of the control of commercial interests. All speakers and planning committee members for the University of Texas at San Antonio sponsored programs are expected to disclose (prior to the activity) all “relevant financial relationships” as financial relationships in any amount occurring within the past 24 months that create a conflict of interest. (“Relevant” financial interest or other relationships can include such things as grant or research support, employees, consultants, major stockholders, members of speaker bureau, etc.)
The University of Texas at San Antonio and (Kate Lathrop, MD, and Virginia Kaklamani, MD), course director and content reviewer for the activity, have reviewed all financial disclosure information for all speakers, facilitators, and planning committee members; and determined and resolved all conflicts of interests.
Continuing Medical Education Statements
The University of Texas at San Antonio is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) to provide continuing medical education for physicians.

Maintenance of Certification (MOC II) Information
The Office of CME will be providing MOC II credits to attendees with MD or DO degrees that are board certified in accordance with the American Board of Internal Medicine and the American Board of Surgery.
To ensure MOC II credits are reported in a timely manner, complete the questionnaire no later than January 12, 2026.
Participants will earn MOC points equivalent to the amount of CME credits claimed for the activity. CME credit must be claimed for the Office of CME to report participant’s MOC II credit.
