At UT Health San Antonio, we strive to provide web resources that are accessible to all users. In developing this site, we’ve partnered with developers who share our commitment to upholding best practices in all phases of the design and deployment process.

The W3C Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) define accessibility requirements for web content and other digital interfaces. There are three defined levels of conformance:

  • Level A
  • Level AA
  • Level AAA

In developing this site, we used WCAG 2.2 level AA as our accessibility standard. This site is partially conformant with that standard, as we continue to work to reach full conformance.

Technical standards that guide compliance come from Title 1, Rules 206.70 and 213.30 through 213.36 of the Texas Administrative Code.
