The Patient Advocate Pavilion at SABCS® is a dedicated space in the Exhibit Hall where advocacy meets innovation. Featuring a wide range of nonprofit organizations, the Pavilion fosters connection, collaboration, and education around patient-centered breast cancer care.

Attendees can visit the Pavilion to engage with leading advocacy groups, discover resources for patients and caregivers, and explore how advocacy shapes research and policy. Learn more about the participating organizations below.

  • Stand Tall AFC
    Stand Tall AFC is a global advocacy campaign promoting aesthetic flat closure (AFC) as a valid and empowering post-mastectomy option. Through visibility at breast cancer events, the organization works to destigmatize the loss of breasts and support informed, inclusive choices for all patients impacted by breast cancer and genetic risk.
  • The Breasties
    The Breasties is the first all-inclusive nonprofit organization that creates community for survivors, previvors, stage 4 thrivers, and caregivers impacted by breast and gynecologic cancers. The organization is on a mission to support and improve the experiences of the cancer community through peer-to-peer connection, resources, and advocacy.
  • Project Life MBC
    Project Life MBC is a virtual wellness community created by and for individuals living with metastatic breast cancer. Offering free access to mentorship, educational resources, and wellness programming, the organization supports patients and caregivers in navigating life with stage 4 disease through connection, creativity, and empowerment.
  • The IBC Network Foundation
    The IBC Network Foundation is dedicated to funding research and raising awareness for inflammatory breast cancer (IBC), a rare and aggressive form of the disease. The foundation partners with leading research initiatives, including the Metastatic Breast Cancer Project, to accelerate scientific discovery and improve outcomes for patients.
  • Elevated Survivorship
    Elevated Survivorship is dedicated to and in service of African American breast cancer survivors and metavivors. The organization is forging its path as the brand authority on all things related to African American breast cancer survivorship. They prioritize the inclusion of informed African American voices in policy, research, and advocacy at all levels across the cancer continuum, which will create a more equitable health care system and change the narrative on breast cancer mortality.
  • METAvivor
    METAvivor focuses exclusively on stage 4 metastatic breast cancer (MBC), to improve the lives of people living with MBC by funding research, advancing federal policies through advocacy, and facilitating a community of peer-to-peer support.
  • Cancer Vaccine Coalition
    The Cancer Vaccine Coalition is a collaborative initiative focused on accelerating the development and approval of safe, effective cancer vaccines. Founded by journalist Kristen Dahlgren, the coalition brings together leading researchers and clinicians to advance immunotherapy solutions for breast cancer treatment and prevention.
  • My Density Matters
    My Density Matters is a nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering women to understand their breast density and advocate for appropriate screening. Through education, outreach, and partnerships, the organization works to eliminate barriers to early detection and improve outcomes for individuals with dense breast tissue.
  • Project31
    Project31 is a faith-based nonprofit supporting breast cancer survivors through emotional, spiritual, and relational healing. Founded by a two-time survivor, the organization offers support groups, peer-to-peer relationships, mentoring, counseling scholarships, and care kits to help women and their families navigate life during and after breast cancer.
  • For the Breast of Us
    For the Breast of Us is a pioneering nonprofit dedicated to empowering women of color affected by breast cancer. Through advocacy, education, and community-building, the organization addresses disparities in care and representation, creating inclusive spaces for healing and leadership.
  • Susan G. Komen
    Susan G. Komen is the only organization that addresses breast cancer on multiple fronts such as research, community health, global outreach, and public policy initiatives to make the biggest impact against this disease.
  • My Faulty Gene
    My Faulty Gene is a nonprofit organization which provides information and assistance to underrepresented, uninsured, and underinsured individuals whose family medical history suggests genetic testing might be helpful in identifying an increased risk of disease due to a genetic mutation. They believe that everyone in need of germline genetic testing should have access, including family members of individuals with a known mutation.
  • Twisted Pink
    Twisted Pink provides hope and connection to people living with metastatic breast cancer by funding bold breakthroughs in research and spreading awareness of the disease.
  • Young Survival Coalition (YSC)
    Young Survival Coalition supports the young breast cancer community and ignites global collaboration to improve quality of life worldwide.
  • Male Breast Cancer Global Alliance
    The Male Breast Cancer Global Alliance brings men with breast cancer together with researchers, clinicians, and oncologists around the world for the purpose of advancing research, clinical trials, and treatments for men diagnosed with breast cancer.
  • AfroPink
    AfroPink® is a non-profit organization dedicated to increasing awareness of detecting breast cancer early within the African American community. They aim to dispel myths, encourage preventative health care, and provide information on resources to assist with screenings in order to help decrease the 42% higher chance that Black women have of dying from breast cancer compared to other races.
  • Metastatic Breast Cancer Alliance
    Metastatic Breast Cancer Alliance aims to amplify their collective efforts through collaboration and innovation to improve the lives of people living with metastatic breast cancer.
  • Thriving Beyond Breast Cancer
    Thriving Beyond Breast Cancer aims to empower the breast cancer community through free stipends, survivorship therapy, and meaningful engagement. They offer support, education, and encouragement, fostering a strong sense of community and helping individuals thrive beyond their diagnosis. Together, they are building a future where no one faces breast cancer alone.
  • Know Your Lemons Foundation
    The Know Your Lemons Foundation’s mission is to improve early detection of breast cancer worldwide through creative and empowering education. They do this through three initiatives: their early detection app, classes taught by trained volunteer educators, and their global campaign available on social, in print, and online in over 30 languages.
  • East Georgia Cancer Coalition
    The mission of the East Georgia Cancer Coalition (EGCC) is to raise awareness, provide health education, prevent and detect cancer, support patients and families, enhance survivors’ lives, and prepare future leaders for the workforce within our region.
  • Worth the Wait
    Worth the Wait aims to empower young adult cancer survivors on their path to parenthood. They provide financial support and educational resources for fertility treatments, adoption, and surrogacy while advocating for oncofertility within the health care system and beyond.
  • Forge Breast Cancer Survivor Center
    Forge supports, empowers, and improves medical access, health outcomes, and quality of life for Alabama breast cancer patients, survivors, and those who love them from the day of diagnosis through the rest of life.
  • Lobular Breast Cancer Alliance Inc
    Lobular Breast Cancer Alliance aims to make all who are touched by ILC aware of its unique characteristics and the critical need for more ILC research; to be the go-to source for information on ILC studies, clinical trials and educational tools; to foster partnerships among patients, scientists, clinicians, and breast cancer organizations to increase dialogue about ILC and research advocacy; and to fund vital ILC research.
  • Pink Fund
    Pink Fund aims to improve the lives of people in treatment for breast cancer through household bill payments, community engagement, and education.
  • Breast Cancer Resource Center
    Breast Cancer Resource Center (BCRC) is a community-based nonprofit serving Central Texans since 1995. Strengthened by their mission to empower those affected by breast cancer with personalized support and compassion and in collaboration with our community partners, BCRC envisions a future where no one faces breast cancer alone.
  • ABCD: After Breast Cancer Diagnosis
    ABCD offers free emotional support services to empower anyone impacted by a breast cancer diagnosis—people currently in treatment (“patients”), people who have completed treatment (“survivors”), people living with stage 4/metastatic disease (“thrivers”), people who are at high risk of developing breast cancer because of their genetics (“previvors”), as well as family and friends.
