The Trusted Leader in Breast Cancer Insights. Expanded. The Emerging Role of MRD and ctDNA Surveillance in HR+/HER2- Early Breast Cancer
Description: Despite effective adjuvant therapy, some patients with early breast cancer remain at risk for late recurrence that imaging and clinicopathologic assessment alone may not detect. This Product Theater examines the emerging role of molecular residual disease (MRD) and circulating tumor DNA (ctDNA) surveillance across the breast cancer continuum. Faculty will review the science behind next-generation, tumor-informed whole-genome sequencing; evolving clinical evidence in breast cancer; and practical considerations for integrating serial ctDNA monitoring into follow-up care, including how MRD insights may complement established genomic risk assessment to inform individualized, longitudinal patient management.
