Applications for 2026 Scholar Awards are now open as part of the abstract submission process.
The San Antonio Breast Cancer Symposium® and its partners offer scholarships to selected presenters to help offset the cost of attending the symposium and support the professional development of early-career clinicians and scientists pursuing breast cancer research.
Scholar Award Recipients will be recognized in the SABCS program, both online and in print, and during the meeting.
Presenters who wish to be considered must opt in during abstract submission. Eligible applicants will automatically be considered for all scholarships and travel awards for which they qualify.
Eligibility
Scholarships will be awarded to graduate students, medical students, postdoctoral fellows, and physicians-in-training whose abstracts are accepted for presentation at SABCS 2026, based upon the quality of their abstracts.

- Be a graduate student, medical student or resident, clinical resident/fellow, or post-doctoral fellow in an official training program at an academic institution
- Provide certification of “in-training” status from the program director
- Be listed as the presenter on an abstract submitted for SABCS 2026
- Submit a scholarship application with the abstract
