Disclosure to Learners
As an ACCME-accredited CME provider, The UT Health Science Center San Antonio must ensure that its CME activities are independent of the control of commercial interests. All speakers and planning committee members for the UT Health Science Center San Antonio sponsored programs are expected to disclose (prior to the activity) all “relevant financial relationships” as financial relationships in any amount occurring within the past 24 months that can create a conflict of interest. (“Relevant” financial interest or other relationships can include such things as grant or research support, employees, consultants, major stockholders, members of speaker bureau, etc.)The UT Health Science Center San Antonio and Virginia Kaklamani, MD and Kate Lathrop, MD, course directors and content reviewers for the activity, have reviewed all financial disclosure information for all speakers, facilitators, and planning committee members; and determined and resolved all conflicts of interests.

Continuing Medical Education Statements
The UT Health Science Center San Antonio designates this live activity up to a maximum of 88.5 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation.
Claim your CME credits no later than January 31, 2025.
If you are an ABS diplomate, you will need to fill out the following link, so that the Office of CME can report your accredited CME credits within 30-45 days following the conclusion of the symposium.

Maintenance of Certification (MOC II) Information:
The Office of CME will be providing MOC II credits to MD/DO’s that are board certified in accordance with the American Board of Internal Medicine and the American Board of Surgery.
How to obtain MOC II Credits:
ABIM: Successful completion of this CME activity, which includes participation in the evaluation component and questionnaire, enables the participant to earn up to 85.5 MOC II points in the American Board of Internal Medicine’s (ABIM) Maintenance of Certification (MOC) program. It is the CME activity provider’s responsibility to submit participant completion information to ACCME for the purpose of granting ABIM MOC II credit.
ABS: Successful completion of this CME activity, which includes participation in the evaluation component and questionnaire (Self-Assessment), enables the learner to earn credit toward the CME and Self-Assessment requirement(s) of the American Board of Surgery’s Continuous Certification program. It is the CME activity provider's responsibility to submit learner completion information to ACCME for the purpose of granting ABS credit.
Fill out the MOC II Questionnaire
To ensure MOC II credits are reported in a timely manner, complete the questionnaire no later than January 31, 2025.
Participants will earn MOC points equivalent to the amount of CME credits claimed for the activity. CME credit must be claimed for the Office of CME to report participant’s MOC II credit.
