Onsite child care will be available during the Symposium for children ages 6 months to 12 years in Room 303C of the Henry B. Gonzalez Convention Center. The Symposium is pleased to partner with Kiddie Corp to provide a children’s program during the 2024 SABCS. Kiddie Corp is in its 39th year of providing high-quality children’s programs and youth services to conventions, trade shows, and special events. Parents and caregivers can learn more about child care services and register online in advance. Walk-in registration also will be available at the convention center based on space availability. The Symposium is subsidizing 50 percent of the rate to limit the cost to attendees. The Speaker Ready Room at SABCS (San Antonio Breast Cancer Symposium) is an essential resource for all symposium General Session, Rapid Fire Mini-Oral Session, Late-Breaking Oral Presentation, or Poster Spotlight Session presenters, offering a dedicated space to prepare and fine-tune your presentation before taking the stage. Here's what you can expect and why it's helpful:

• Practice and Rehearsal: It's an excellent opportunity to practice your presentation, ensuring you're comfortable with both the content and the technology. You can rehearse your slides, transitions, and timing.
• Technical Support: AV experts will be available to assist with any technical issues you might face with your presentation materials. This ensures that your slides, videos, and audio components will work smoothly during the actual session.
• Pre-Presentation Check-In: It's recommended that you check in at least 24 hours before your scheduled presentation. This gives you plenty of time to address any issues or adjust your presentation as needed.
• Familiarize Yourself with the Equipment: The Speaker Ready Room is equipped with the same audio-visual setup that will be used in your actual session, so it's a great place to get familiar with how everything works — whether it's a microphone, clicker, or projector.

By checking in early, you can avoid last-minute stress and ensure everything runs smoothly on the day of your presentation.

Patient Advocates Lounge

Location: Room 220

SABCS has always held Patient Advocates in high regard, making them a vital part of the event and a true respresentative of the patient experience at the symposium. The Patient Advocates Lounge is a special room set aside for advocates to regroup, work, or relax during the hectic days at the symposium.

Lounge Hours:
Tuesday – 8:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m.
Wednesday 7:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m.
Thursday – 7:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m.
Friday 7:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.

Wellness Lounge

Location: Inside the Exhibit Hall

A place to relax and take a minute off from the hustle of bustle of the conference, the Wellness Lounge includes massage therapy services and a chance to visit with friendly dogs, cats, and maybe even a rabbit or two from the nonprofit Therapy Animals of San Antonio. Hours are as same as the exhibition.
